Three Floyds Calls an Anniversary Audible

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Oct 10, 2011 4:00PM

2009_04_DLD1.jpg Last week we posted about Three Floyds' 15th anniversary party and how you could get tickets. At the time we published the post we wrote that a set of tickets would go on sale at 1 p.m today, with some tickets being held back for sale the day of the party, Nov. 12. Which was the latest information Three Floyds had at the time on their blog.

That ain't happening, folks. Three Floyds' Lincoln Anderson emailed us to let us know today's online sale will be the end of tickets available, as they sold hundreds of tickets at the brewery yesterday. If you're one of those beer geeks who doesn't miss a Three Floyds event, you'll want to go to this link for the ticket sales and start refreshing your browser closer to 1 p.m.

The event is shaping up to be a hell of an anniversary party. The 15th anniversary brew is a collaborative ale with Mikeller, Surly, and Struise breweries. The beer will be available for sale for $30 with a bottle allotment to be determined.

Three Floyds' brewpub chef Mike Sheerin will be joined by Paul Kahan, Big Star's Justin Large, Jonathan Sawyer from Ohio's Greenhouse Tavern, Mindy Segal and a guest chef from Denmark.
