For the second consecutive weekend Occupy Chicago protesters took to the streets and marched to Grant Park in the hopes of setting up a permanent base of operations, only to be arrested by Chicago Police after they violated the Park District's 11 p.m. curfew. Occupy Chicago took to the internet to voice their displeasure with the arrests.

Occupy Chicago has framed these arrests as a violation of their First Amendment rights and have argued they need a centralized base of operations to further coordinate the movement. An estimated 130 protesters were arrested last night. Police estimate the crowd for the march peaked at around 3,000 people.
