The former home of legendary director John Hughes has been put on the market. His widow Nancy Hughes placed the Lake Forest house up for sale, priced at $5,890,000. After John died of a heart attack in August 2009, Nancy moved into a home just three blocks away.

The home sits on 2.1 acres about a block away from Lake Michigan. The house is 11,233 square feet and has 6 bedrooms, 6 full and 4 half bathrooms, and an outdoor swimming pool.
