- A Cicero man was arrested for pirating movies when police found sacks of DVDs in his car during a traffic stop.
- Someone mysteriously dropped off a 20-year-old Riverdale man at the hospital who had already died of a gunshot wound.
- A 6-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in Englewood.
- A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed during what appears to be a robbery in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
