Morning Box Score: Vancouver Routs Blackhawks

Last year's Stanley Cup runners-up haven't a good start to the season, but they proved last night they can still get motivated against a natural rival in the Blackhawks. The Canucks dictated the pace on the ice early and established a 1-0 lead thanks to a David Booth power play goal six minutes into the game. Aaron Rome, Dan Hamhuis and the Sedin twins each added power play goals as Crawford was a sieve last night. Henrik Sedin assisted on three of the Canucks' goals.
Michael Frolik and Marcus Krueger scored for the Blackhawks, who went 0-for-5 on power play chances. The Blackhawks' anemic power play conversion rate is one of their handful of weak spots so far this season.
