Wine Tasting

Fox & Obel's Saturday wine tasting is a good opportunity to load up on wines for those holiday dinners and parties. Discounts ranging from 10-20 percent, depending on the number of bottles purchased, should sweeten the pot, and you can have your order delivered to your door if you purchase them Saturday. (401 E. Cooking Demo

Purple Asparagus, Grow with Gompers and Swedish Covenant Hospital invite you and your family for an interactive cooking demonstration. Have fun preparing three simple, healthy dishes and take home recipes that are perfect for any celebration. A portion of the proceeds raised will help fund the renovation of the Gompers Park playground, as well as continued family nutrition education by Purple Asparagus. Art Fundraiser

Marwen's sixth annual Art Fair, a celebration, exhibition, and sale featuring approximately 150 works created by Marwen students, alumni, staff, and teaching artist, features a wide range of styles and media. Enjoy an evening of food, drink, music, and the chance to interact with the Marwen artists showing work. Artists donate half of all proceeds to Marwen’s free art programs for Chicago’s under-served young people. Lowry Hill is the presenting sponsor of Art Fair. Catering is by e.leaven Food Company.
