Nerdist Podcast Will Record Live in Chicago

Nerdist (no relation) is bringing the gut-busting comedy show to the Vic Theatre on April 13, 2012. If you've never listened to the Nerdist podcast, you need to start. Chris Hardwick (remember "Singled Out"?) hosts the weekly interview show with Jonah Ray and Matt Mira. The hour-long show features interviews with actors and comedians (Personal favorite: Jon Hamm), plus banter amongst the three hosts about what it really means to be a nerd (it's more than wearing glasses), what it feels like to have a panic attack (like being fucked in the heart) and many more hilarious things.

The show isn't until April 13, but presale tickets go on presale on Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., then regular sale on Friday at 10 a.m. If you feel like a road trip, they'll also be at the Majestic Theatre in Madison, Wisc., on April 12.
