Do This: The Warm Up & Bear Down Chili Cook-Off at Moonshine

Moonshine Brewing Company in Wicker Park presents its third annual "Warm Up & Bear Down Chili Cook-Off" this Sunday, Nov. 20 while the Chicago Bears take on the San Diego Chargers. The competition features 16 contestants, half professional and half amateur, aiming for the $500 first prize and Gilded Ladle award.

Bring $5 and a donation of a warm coat (or $10) and your taste-buds to vote on the best chili. As a bonus, the brewmaster is serving up some special brews at $5 per pint or $20 for a growler. The event runs 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. under tents in the Moonshine parking lot. The Bears game starts at 3:15 p.m., and the contest winner will be announced at halftime.
