Revealing the stories and secrets of 18 women and their homes, author Nancy Hiller's book, A Home of Her Own, visits an assortment of houses spanning from a mid-century modern ranch, to a pre-Civil War brick farmhouse, to a trailer. For some, home is simply a place to eat, sleep, and store possessions. For others, it offers intimate and satisfying opportunities for self-expression, becoming a reflection of one's taste, values, and even identity. Hiller, photographer Kendall Reeves will visit Intuit (756 N. Milwaukee Ave.) to sign copies of the book 6 p.m. tomorrow. The book will alsi be available for purchase in the Intuit Store.
