The Blackhawks gained a measure of revenge against Vancouver last night as they kicked off the first game of their circus trip with an emphatic statement against a rival who embarrassed them at the United Center just last week. Corey Crawford stopped 28 of 29 shots on goal, Patrick Kane and Andrew Brunette scored power play goals in the second period and Jonathan Toews tallied his fifth goal in four games to improve the Hawks' record to an NHL-best 12-4-3. Vancouver fans did not take to the streets to riot after the game.
