Celebrate Thanksgiving with North Shore Distillery

2011_11_22NorthShore.jpg Be honest: before visiting your family this Thanksgiving, wouldn't a drink be nice? Even if you love them or you're heading out for a bout of Black Friday shopping, you will need some serious gin action by the end of the day. Either way, North Shore Distillery has got you covered.

North Shore opened its new tasting room earlier this year to let fans visit, drink and hang out with Ethyl the Still. This Wednesday, Nov. 23, the tasting room will have a rare mid-week party. From 3-10 p.m., grab cocktails (made with North Shore products, of course) and seasonal snacks. Best of all? In addition to the normally awesome prices visitors get on North Shore products, anyone who brings in a non-perishable food item gets $1 off each cocktail.

On Black Friday, stop in at the distillery to quench your shopping thirst. They will be serving $6 bloody marys (normally $8) from 8 a.m. - noon, and the tasting room will be open from 3 - 8 p.m. If you're really smart, you'll skip the Black Friday insanity and just buy all of your friends booze.

North Shore Distillery is located at 8913 Herky Drive, Unit 308, Lake Bluff, IL. If you get lost (or need more information) call 847-574-2499.
