Black Wednesday

If we were to get into the Black Wednesday spirit tonight, we'd probably head to Quencher's for their triple bill of The Safes, The Sonnets, and No Enemy. Quencher's is offering a buck off all drafts tonight, as well. (2401 N. Western Ave.)

Piece Pizzeria and Brewery is tapping their Holiday brew, Festivus, tonight. They'll also have Live Band Karaoke, $4 Well Drinks, and $4 Wild Turkey shots. (1924 W. North Ave.)

Film

The 1932 Paramount megaproduction If I Had A Million has never been released on VHS or DVD. Tonight the Northwest Chicago Film Society screens the film from a recently struck 35 mm print. As always with NWCFS screenings at the Portage Theater, Jay Warren will be manning the Wurlitzer organ. (4050 N. Milwaukee Ave., $5, 7:30 p.m.)
