Ian's "Go to Sleep" Pizza Lives Up to Its Name

Punk's pizza made a return engagement to Ian's menu, so I made my way to there Wednesday for a slice of the "GTS." (The pizza is named after Punk's finishing maneuver a knee to the face after being dropped from a fireman's carry position.) It certainly lives up to its name. the "GTS" is excessively starchy and could have benefited from some acidity; green apples and cranberries immediately came to mind. Hot sauce also works in a pinch and we liberally applied our emergency stash to the slice.
The texture of the "GTS" was pleasant, with a crispiness to the crust we look for in any good tarte flambee. Overall, this is a pizza that will knock you out. It's available at Ian's through tomorrow.
