Emerald Boutique Shows Green Can Be Chic

By Elisa Revello in Arts & Entertainment on Nov 29, 2011 9:40PM

Heather George recently launched Em Bo., short for Emerald Boutique, in the Southport Corridor, a distinct specialty clothing and accessory store offering the latest in green fashion, vintage pieces, and everyday items that emphasize practicality and style while making less of an environmental impact.

The store is affectionately named after an emerald green dress, a stunning and unique piece that was George’s first vintage treasure. An advocate for the environment and social causes, George believes that “if a person can make less of an impact, then why not do that?”

The store features up-and-coming, eco-friendly designers and green clothing items from ecoSkin andjuleselin. Em Bo. also has a hip collection of vintage bags. For more information about Em Bo., visit their website or email them.
