Happy Belated Birthday, Mr. Mayor

We let yesterday come and go without wishing Mayor Rahm Emanuel a Happy Birthday. The 52-year-old mayor has a lot on his plate but, as the photo above suggests, he did take some time to smell the roses.
We've also put together a list of gifts we would bring to the Fifth Floor of City Hall, if we hadn't forgotten.

Michele Lenni: A new and improved swear jar.
Prescott Carlson: A copy of Liking Myself
Aaron Cynic: Camping gear and an invitation to set it up outside the Federal Reserve Building.
Samantha Abernethy: A case of ramen noodles.
Chuck Sudo: Dinner at Arby's, followed by a performance of Joffrey Ballet's The Nutcracker. (We can expense it to Gothamist.)
