Geja's Cafe's 32nd Annual Champagne Festival kicks off tomorrow and runs through Feb. 29, 2012. To celebrate, Geja's is hosting a special tasting open to the public featuring seven uniquely delicious Champagnes from Nicolas Feuillatte on Sunday, Dec. 4th. The tasting begins at 1 p.m. and is $30 per person. The renowned Chicago opera singer, Laura Bonetti, will perform during the tasting. (340 W. Armitage)

Wine

Fulton’s on the River (315 N. LaSalle) invites guests to play Sommelier for a Day from 2-6 p.m. Friday. Southern Wine and Spirits Certified Sommelier Evan Abramowitz will lead guests in the art of wine tasting and pairing in Fulton’s private riverfront dining room. Executive Chef Kevin Schulz will provide perfectly paired seasonal hors d’oeuvres to complement the signature selections. Guests are invited to enjoy this unique experience at home with the option to purchase any of the wines available for sampling that evening. This tasting is priced $15 per guest. Reservations are recommended as this is a limited event and can be made by calling Fulton’s on the River at 312-822-0100.

Beer Tastings

Bell's Beer has another tap takeover in the works starting 7 p.m. tonight at High Dive (1938 W. Division St.). Some of the featured brews include Hell Hath No Fury, Sparkling Ale, Oracle, Christmas Ale, Best Brown.
