The Neo-Futurists final performances of their long-running Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind in 2011 begin tomorrow night and run through Dec. 11. These are billed as anniversary shows featuring current Neo-Futurists and alumni. [5153 N. Ashland Ave.; 11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 7 p.m. Sundays (doors open 30 minutes before showtime); $9 plus the roll of a six-sided die or RSVP in advance — a first for the Neo-Futurists — to 773-275-5255.]

Music/Discussion

Homeroom will present their monthly songwriter showcase and open mic featuring Colin Tyler and James Berthiaume of The Get 9 p.m. tomorrow at Elastic Arts (2830 N. Milwaukee). Homeroom’s Songwriter Showcase features two songwriters per event who are encouraged to discuss their songwriting processes and influences in an intimate environment that fosters focused listening and promotes open interaction with the audience. Cover is $7.
