Last year the Admiral Theatre (discretion advised on that link, if you need it spelled out for you) launched "Lap Dances for the Needy," a self-explanatory charity campaign in which an unwrapped toy was exchanged for a lap dance.

The campaign raised five car loads of new toys, which were then donated to local churches in Albany Park. (A good gesture or a measure of penance? you decide.) It proved to be so successful that the Admiral is planning to do this again, starting Monday and running through Dec. 17.

Now before some of you decide to run off to Toys "R" Us and max out your credit cards, the Admiral stresses that there will only be one lap dance per customer, per visit. So do your good deed, go get yourself a nice pair of blue balls, and move on.
