Morning Box Score - Flames Dance Around Huskies, DePaul wins at Allstate Arena

The Huskies couldn't keep up against the Flames on Saturday. Northern Illinois only shot 36 percent (20 for 55) from the field and had a 9-1 run at the end of the game to only trail by a point, but the Flames held on to make the Huskies lose their eighth straight game. Keith Gray and Anotone Christian were the Huskies leading scorers with 11 points each.
DePaul and the visiting Cougars engaged in a shootout at Allstate Arena yesterday. Cleveland Martin scored a career-high 30 points and Brandon Young scored 20 of his 21 in the second half as the Blue Demons snapped an 11-game losing streak at their home away from home.
Ben Averkamp hit a 15-footer at the buzzer to give Loyola its second win of the season. Averkamp scored a career-high 31 points.
