Rod Blagojevich and his family received something of an early Christmas present today as Judge James Zagel moved the date for Blagojevich to report to prison to March 15.
Zagel granted Blagojevich's request for the extra month to allow him time to sell his Ravenswood Manor home and help his family move. the former governor's attorneys also requested he serve his time at the low-security Federal Correction Institute Englewood in Littleton, Colo. Located 15 miles southwest of Denver, the prison houses male offenders in a dorm-style prison camp setup.
Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison last week and must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence - nearly 12 years.
