The Blackhawks continue to scratch out tough wins, this time on the road against the Wild. Jonathan Toews continued to dominate the ice with two goals, including one in the deciding shootout. Marian Hossa and Michael Frolik each scored a goal and Ray Emery turned away 27 shots in regulation. But it was Patrick Kane who lifted the Hawks to victory with his shootout goal. With the win, the Hawks are 7-1-1 in their last nine games and kept pace with the league-leading Wild. Minnesota has 44 points; the Blackhawks 42.
