Three weeks ago, we informed you that Next, the Aviary and the Office were all available for rent for New Year's Eve. You and 40-50 of your closest friends (and, we suspect, 20-30,000 of your closest dollars) would have the exclusive run of one of the most acclaimed eating and drinking spots in America. Looks like it didn't pan out. The Aviary announced yesterday that it was selling individual New Year's Eve tickets and Next's kitchen table is still available for rent. The good news? If you want to go there for New Year's Eve, you still can.

We aren't that surprised the restaurants weren't rented; that's an awful lot of money, even for a super-rich foodie. Mind you, individual tickets for NYE aren't cheap. A ticket to the Aviary (including passed cocktails and bites and a champagne toast) will cost you $250, and a ticket to the Office is $500. If you want to really blow your bank balance out of the water, consider pairing a trip to Alinea with drinks at the Aviary — a 9-course meal, followed by limo service and a ticket to the party at the Aviary will run you $700.

If you'd prefer to eat on New Year's Eve, the Kitchen Table at Next is still available. For $3,000 (plus tax and tip) you and five of your closest friends can have the full treatment at Next. There's only one seating, at 7:30p.m., so at least you won't be rushed.

For tickets, email NYE@nextrestaurant.com or NYE@theaviary.com.
