Pencil This In: Koval, Wagyu Wagon Team Up for Distillery Tour, Dinner

By Staff in Food on Dec 21, 2011 6:20PM

2011_12_21_PTI.jpg Koval Distillery is teaming up with the Wagyu Wagon for a distillery tour and pop-up dinner tonight at 7 p.m. The tour will last about 90 minutes, followed by dinner from one of the newest food trucks in town. Best of all? It only costs $10. RSVP here. (5121 N Ravenswood Ave.)

Music/Comedy

Ex-Rockapella star Sean Altman's comedy song concert Jewmongous is "tuneful and sharply witty" (Los Angeles Times) and "bawdy with a wicked modern streak" (Washington Post), combining "the tunefulness of the Beatles and the spot-on wit of Tom Lehrer" (Boston Globe). Last year's Christmas night shows at the Skokie Theater both sold out, so do not wait! (Skokie Theater, 7924 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie; 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. shows, buy tickets here.)

Cycling

Cyclist Christian Vande Velde will make an in-store appearance at the Garmin store (663 N. Michigan Ave.) for a Q&A and autograph session from 5-6 p.m.
