Chicago's largest no-kill animal shelter PAWS is holding a fundraiser at Piece Pizzeria (1927 W. North Ave.) tonight, Thursday, Dec. 22 at 9 p.m. Donate $5 to sing a Christmas karaoke song and benefit Chicago's homeless pets. Bonus: festive $2 jello shots. Ten percent of sales benefit animals.

Also check out PAWS "12 Strays of Christmas" if you want to add another family member this holiday season. Chicago-area celebrities are helping to show off some of the cutest animals up for adoption.

The PAWS Adoption Center is at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., open Friday noon to 8 p.m. and Christmas Eve 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The PAWS Spay/Neuter Clinic is at 3516 W. 26th St. Call them at 773-521-7729 (SPAY).
