Drunk Driver Crashes Car Into Police Station

A motorist spent Christmas in jail after he allegedly drove his car into a police station on the South side while inebriated behind the wheel. Andrew Walker of Harvey reportedly drove his 1987 Chevrolet Caprice into a wall at the Gresham District police station at 7808 S. Halsted St. hard enough to damage said wall (Chicago Breaking News has raw video of the crash aftermath).

Walker tried to drive away from the crash but was stopped at 79th and Peoria. He was cited for DUI and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
