The Blackhawks returned from their holiday break by easily handling Columbus at the United Center. Corey Crawford saw a lot of work between the pipes, stopping 37 of 38 shots. Viktor Stalberg scored two goals, Patrick Sharp added a goal and Marian Hossa tallied a power play goal and an assist to cap the scoring. the Los Angeles Kings come to the United Center tomorrow night as the Blackhawks play eight of their next nine games on home ice. Taking advantage of the home cooking could be an ideal opportunity for the Hawks to build on their league-leading 50 points.
