Pencil This In: Soulfarm at the Skokie Theatre

Founded in Israel by guitarist C. Lanzbom and guitarist and lead singer Noah Solomon Chase, Soulfarm has a wide range of influences from rock and Latin, to Hebrew and Celtic folk music; has recorded with many well-known musicians such as Perry Farrel and Dispatch; and has opened for Bruce Hornsby, Shawn Colvin, The Wailers George Clinton, among other acts. Their sound has been dubbed as New American music, full melodic song writing and progressive modern arrangements. Soulfarm performs at the Skokie Theater 8 p.m. tonight in an all ages show. Cover is $15 in advance; $20 at the door. (7924 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie)
