Jason Segel Teases Improv Performance at Second City Tonight

How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel is in Chicago to accept the Commedia Extraordinaire Award from the Chicago Film Critics Association.

James Earl Jones, Dennis Farina, Shirley MacLaine and The Second City are also among the evening's honorees at the Chicago Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. But Segal probably deserves his award solely for making the Muppets funny and relevant again. (The later seasons of HIMYM haven't done him any favors.)

Segel also announced his plans for the evening after he accepts the award and that he'll accept an invitation from The Second City to perform some improv tonight.

Segel followed with another tweet saying it's been more than ten years since he's done longer form improvisation. We'd love to be a fly on the wall, if not in the audience, tonight for this.
