Extra Extra: Parents Left Kids In Car While They Did Heroin

  • A couple from the western Illinois town of Walnut were arrested after they left their 4- and 10-year-old children in a car in a gas station parking lot for about 15 minutes while they went in the station's bathroom to shoot up heroin.   • A Lakeview couple was fleeing their burning apartment building, and when they couldn't find their pets, they propped the door open for them to escape. Unfortunately that open door helped the flames spread, which killed one of the building's residents. [Tribune]

  • Snoop Dogg was arrested in Texas this weekend for marijuana possession. He has a prescription in California, but Texas doesn't recognize that. [LAist]
