Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler Expecting A Baby

Looks like the protection issues for Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler extend off the field. Cutler and his fiance, reality television "star" Kristin Cavallari, announced they're having a baby. The happy couple exclusively told People.com, "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."

Last year was a tumultuous one for Cutler and Cavallari. They first became engaged in April, only to have Cutler call off the engagement in July, which was especially embarrassing for Cavallari, as she had shot a Life & Style photo shoot in a wedding dress prior to the announcement.

The Cutler and Cavallari reconciled and announced their second engagement in November, which at the time we attributed to the painkillers Cutler may have been prescribed when his season was ended with a broken thumb. Cavallari said of the breakup/timeout/whatever, "Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end - even if it's momentarily."

That's deep. Oddly (Ironically?), neither Cutler nor Cavallari announced their impending arrival on Twitter.
