Northwest Indiana Sailor Charged With Asking Former Girlfriend To Molest 3-Year-Old

Here's a crime story from Indiana that isn't funny, but sad and sick, instead. A U.S. Navy enlistee is awaiting extradition from Florida after being charged with 23 felonies for aiding in child molestation, aiding in child exploitation, possession of child pornography, aiding in voyeurism and aiding in theft.

Ryan Schroeder was arrested by NCIS agents. The charges stem from the arrest of 21-year-old Tara Tryon of Wanatah, IN. Tryon, Schroeder's former girlfriend, was charged with 20 class B felony counts of child molestation last October.

Indiana State Police, acting on information by the Indiana Department of Child Services, began an investigation into a 3-year-old who was allegedly molested by Tryon. Authorities contend that Shcroeder asked Tryon to molest the child and text him photos. He was not in the Navy at the time of the allegations.
