Last September we talked to Oak park native Jonah Ansell. Ansell, with his fiancé Jamie Peisel, produced a short film to break the news of their engagement to their friends and family. Ansell also mentioned a movie he was filming with Christopher Lloyd, Kathy Bates and his fellow Oak Parker, fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson.

Ansell has released a trailer for that film, an animated short called Cadaver. The film stars Lloyd as a recently deceased man who wakes up to say a final goodbye to his wife, but discovers something he didn't know when he was alive.

Gevinson plays medical student Lynn in the film and sings a poignant rendition of the Neil Young classic "Heart of Gold." Ansell said Young personally granted permission to use the song—one of a handful of times hes done so in the past 40 years&mdashand it was recorded Easter Sunday last year with Chicago jazz musician Aaron Koppel on acoustic guitar.

Ansell also has plans to release an adult picture book version of Cadaver. The trailer is below
