2012_02_04_bennys.jpg This week we've given you recipes to whip up during the big game, and restaurants offering take out to cater your home party. But if you're not throwing or hitting a party this year, you can still welcome Monday morning with a hangover. Here are our picks for bars and restaurants hosting Super Bowl events.

Sunda is offering 50 percent off all food and drinks all day tomorrow. Pigskin themed items include bacon rimmed bloody Marys, whole roasted pig, and chocolate covered bacon, or you can get regular menu items like dumplings and sushi.

Moonshine is hosting a Slider Bowl with a $35 buffet of sliders (hot dogs, grilled chicken, and pulled pork are among the options), wings, fries, cocktails, and beer. The party kicks off at 5:30 p.m.

Benny’s Chop House is offering free appetizers during the game, including flatbreads (above), mini tacos, short rib sliders, and satay.

Burger Bar is throwing “The Ultimate Tailgate,” with a chili bar, mini burger bar, pulled pork quesadilla, fried pickles, and other snacks. The spread will cost $30 in advance (call 773-862-8686) or $35 at the door, and is available starting at 3 p.m.
