Axl Rose turns 50 today, so here are a few videos of the Indiana native taking on the world. Guns N' Roses is stopping through town in a couple weeks, at the House of Blues, but it appears to be sold out already.

The first video below is GNR's cover of U.K. Subs's "Down on the Farm" from the 1990 Farm Aid concert in Indianapolis. "Everything smells like horseshit, down here on the farm." It takes some major balls (or a sociopathic personality) to play an anti-farm song at a charity fundraiser intended to save American farms.

The video below is from Guns n Roses: Live in Chicago 1992, and Rose is trying to one-up Paul McCartney in his rendition of Wings' "Live and Let Die." The best part is at 1:11 when he dances, and his flannel shirt flutters in the breeze like Stevie Nicks's skirts.

And here is a video of Rose with his hired "guns" playing at the Allstate Arena last year, dressed like a cross between Elton John and a Rock of Love contestant.
