Grubstreet Names "101 Of America’s Most Crazy-Awesome New Desserts"

The Grubstreet team named "101 of America’s Most Crazy-Awesome New Desserts" this week, and the Chicago arm of the site has selected some seriously amazing looking dishes. Making the cut are Balena's Pistachio Sundae, Blood Orange Marmalade and Curd, Coconut-Water Sorbet from David Burke's Primehouse, Advocaat and Almond Pudding with Kletskopjes from Home Bistro, and six other desserts that would make you consider sharing an entree. We'll also use this time to remind you about Food and Wine's contest for The People's Best New Pastry Chef. Five Chicago pastry chefs are up for the title and they're a very deserving bunch.
