Morning Box Score: Rose's Return Successful For Bulls

Derrick Rose made a successful return to the court yesterday at the United Center. Rose, who missed the last five games with back spasms, scored 23 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out six assists in 35 minutes of play as the Bulls withheld a late Hawks rally to bounce back from an embarrassing loss Saturday to New Jersey. Rose didn't talk to reporters after the game, but he looked energetic and showed no signs of rustiness on the court. The Bulls have the day off before playing Milwaukee tomorrow, then have the All-Star Break to get healthy.
