One For The Road: Chicago Journalists Interview Malcolm X In 1963

The video below is from Chicago television show City Desk featuring an interview with Malcolm X on March 17, 1963. The panel of journalists asks a number of questions about the Nation of Islam, segregation of schools and a number of other civil rights topics. The entire 28-minute episode can be viewed below.

City Desk aired on WMAQ-Ch. 5 and continued in some capacity until 1996. The video below includes a panel of Chicago journalists Jim Hurlbut, Len O'Connor, Floyd Kalber, and Charles McCuen.
