Today's Weather: Tempestuous

This winter must be hell for our local weather forecasters, what with giving the same "gray and in the 40s" prediction every day for the past two months. They must relish the opportunity to say a winter storm warning is in effect like the one the area is under today. Skilling Central is predicting four to nine inches of snow later today. We'll believe it when we see it, but we're actually hoping Skilling, Brant Miller, Steve Baskerville and Jerry Taft are right today. A few of us here in the Chicagoist offices have been nursing chest colds and it doesn't seem right to have one with weather akin to late March.
