Six guys are taking a goat on a 1,900-mile hike from the Cubs spring training facility in Mesa, Ariz., to Wrigley Field. Now before you roll your eyes at the curse thing or start talking about the Sox, these guys are doing their "Crack the Curse" hike to raise money to fight cancer.

The goat's name is Wrigley, and he won't be hoofing it most of the way. They'll be pulling him in a cart "like a king." Wrigley and the guys left Hohokam Park on Feb. 25. They hope that by walking an average of 25 miles per day, they can make it to Wrigley in time for the Sox-Cubs series May 18.

None of the guys are from Chicago, but only one of them isn't a Cubs fan. Matt Gregory and Austin Roberts hail from Elma, Wash.; Kyle Townsend and Blake Ferrell are from Marcellus, Mich.; Philip Aldrich of Memphis, Tenn.; and Patrick (PJ) Fisher is a Diamondbacks fan from Prescott, Ariz.

You can follow their travels on Facebook or on their blog. They're raising money for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. T-shirts and sunglasses are available on their website.
