The Bulls returned from the NBA All-Star break with their projected starting five of Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Rip Hamilton on the court for only the fifth time this season. Hamilton only played 17 minutes, scored five points and dished out five assists. The rest of the Bulls starters scored in double figures, led by Rose's 32 points. And the needed every point, as New Orleans hung close most of the game and were poised to upset the Bulls thanks to a 13-0 fourth quarter run. But the Bulls came back and cinched the win with a Rose jumper from the corner with 19.4 seconds left. Rose also handed out nine assists. Deng and Noah each had double doubles. New Orleans was led by Chris Kaman's 17 points and 11 boards and Trevor Ariza's 16 points.
The Bulls travel to San Antonio tonight.
