One For The Road: Jazz Saxophonist Red Holloway Died

Jazz Saxophonist James "Red" Holloway has died on Feb. 25 at the age of 84. Holloway started on the tenor sax when he was at DuSable High School, then attended the Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He enrolled in the Army and was the bandmaster for the Fifth Army Band. After that he returned to Chicago and his career took off. He played with the likes of Aretha Franklin and B.B. King and released more than a dozen albums.
