Safeway Hosts Competition To Be Next Corporate Chef

By Amy Cavanaugh in Food on Mar 4, 2012 5:30PM

Safeway, whose family of grocery stores includes local chain Dominick's, is holding a national talent search to find its next corporate chef, a job that includes developing recipes for Safeway's product lines.

To enter, you need a resume (which should have some sort of culinary experience), and an original all-natural skillet meal recipe. The field will be whittled down and three regional cook-offs will be held around the country, including one in Chicago, before a final cook-off in California. The winner gets a job and their skillet meal will be sold at Safeway.

The last date to enter is March 7, so get your entries in.
