Eight people have been charged with theft for shaking a vending machine until it dropped snacks and coins at an unidentified business in Bolingbrook, Ill.,

Police say the eight people were working as temps on an overnight shift, and the police were called at noon on Feb. 21.

Bolingbrook Police Department Lt. Mike Rompa said 17 bags of chips, six Kit-Kats, eight Snickers bars, four packs of Reese’s peanut butter cups, two packs of Starburst, and $62 worth of change were stolen.

Um, perhaps if they hadn't emptied the vending machine they wouldn't have gotten caught. Just a thought. Does each person really need to have two bags of chips, a Snickers and a peanut butter cup? And that's before we divvy up the Starburst. After that, the $62 in change is just an insult.

Tony Montana and Nancy Botwin could've taught these guys a lesson: It's the greed that gets you in trouble.
