There goes the Blackhawks' three-game winning streak thanks to St. Louis dictating the pace on both ends of the ice. Chicago was 0-for-five on the power play while St. Louis extended its streak of penalty kills to 32: a major reason the Blues now have the league's best record. Another reason is goaltender Jaroslav Halak, who won his sixth straight start and only allowed a goal by Andrew Brunette

The Blues have been on fire since Ken Hitchcock took over as coach in December and are playing well at home and on the road, where they recently completed a 5-1 road trip. At least the Hawks are still in sixth place in the Western Conference playoff standings.
