CHAOS Homebrew Club—CHAOS is an acronym for "Chicago Homebrew Alchemists of Sud"—is one of the more serious homebrew clubs in the city. They routinely hold events and tastings from their brewhouse on the Near west side and take part in chef Won Kim's brewing events.

CHAOS is teaming up with Leopold restaurant for a five-course beer dinner March 26 that will pair some of their beers with chef Jeffrey Hedin's cooking. The menu for the dinner looks wonderful, on first view. There's a Belgian quadrupel paired with house made sausage, pickled beets, onions and cabbage. risotto with mushrooms, greens and farro will be paired with a barleywine. A mead is paired with a simple biscuit.

Tickets are available for this dinner through March 23 online. CHAOS is limiting the seating for this dinner to 24; 10 tickets have been purchased for this dinner so far.
