Morning Box Score: Bulls Rebound Against Sixers

By Chuck Sudo in News on Mar 18, 2012 2:30PM

Bulls 89, Philadelphia 80

At first it seemed as though the Bulls would lose two straight games for the first time this season. Philadelphia started the game with an 11-0 run and the Bulls only scored 11 points in the first quarter before they began to work their way back into the game, trailing by six at the break. The Bulls took their first lead of the game on a CJ Watson three-pointer with 5:31 to play in the third quarter. The Sixers never came closer than two points the rest of the way. Watson led five Bulls in double figures with 20 points. Joakim Noah scored 13 and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Carlos Boozer, John Lucas III and Taj Gibson scored 11. Derrick Rose missed his third straight game with a groin strain.

The Bulls hit the road for a game against Orlando tomorrow night.
