Steppenwolf Announces 2012-13 Season

Earlier this month, Steppenwolf Theater Company announced its 2012-13 schedule. Here's what's on tap.
The overarching theme of the season is The Reckoning, with plays focused on what happens when the past comes back to haunt you. First up is David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People, which runs September 13-November 11, 2012, and is about life in South Boston. That's followed up with Stephen Adly Guirgis's The Motherf**ker With The Hat, which runs December 27, 2012-March 3, 2013; Harold Pinter's classic The Birthday Party, running January 24-May 19, 2013; Head of Passes, a new play by ensemble member Tarell Alvin McCraney running April 4-June 9, 2013; and Belleville, Amy Herzog's play about American expats in Paris, running June 27-August 25, 2013.
