In Pictures: Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade

We wrote last week that everyone is Irish for a day except in Chicago, where everyone is Irish two days a year. While the South Side Irish Parade was on its best behavior after a three-year absence, the city's official parade Saturday more than made up for the lack of open containers in Beverly a week ago, with hundreds of thousands of people decked out in Kelly green: one of the most unflattering colors ever. This year's parade also marked the first one with Rahm Emanuel as mayor and happened on the warmest St. Patrick's Day in Chicago in 141 years.

Hope you got it out of your system this weekend. We won't speak of it again until this time next year.
