Today's Weather: Still Peachy

Yesterday Samantha wrote about why it might be a risible notion for weathermen to offer long-range forecasts of the weather. Some days I'd be happy if they only stuck to a two-day forecast. All week both Accuweather and Skilling said we were due for thunderstorms. Today we have dueling forecasts. Accuweather is sticking to the thunderstorms forecast, while Skilling says we're in for "spells of rainfall, some of it thundery."
Both agree it won't be as warm as it's been the past 7-10 days around here, but if you're as inclined to wear shorts whenever the mercury creeps past 45 degrees as I, you'll still find something to like about a high of 68. As for wearing galoshes? Flip a coin. It seems to be what the weathermen do some days.
