Start refreshing your browsers, Lollapalooza fans. "Early Bird" three-day passes, VIP packages and official travel packages for people coming to Chicago for the Aug. 3-5 festival go on sale at 10 a.m. Central time.

When the early bird passes sell out—at a cost of $200—regular three-day passes will immediately go on sale at a cost of $230. (These prices are inclusive of service fees.)

The VIP packages, which include a wristband for each day, get who buy them the following:

- Unlimited access to Lolla Lounge North and South
- Access to VIP golf cart shuttles for transport between Lolla Lounge North and South
- Viewing platforms with premium sight lines
- Beer, wine and specialty libations all day
- Catered food servings daily
- Mini-Spa Treatments throughout the weekend
- Reserved Lolla Lounge air conditioned restrooms
- Shaded and relaxed lounge seating

Last week a limited number of $75 "Souvenir" tickets sold out as soon as they were available. The Chicago Park District and Lollapalooza promoter C3 Presents also extended their deal to keep the festival in grant Park through 2021, but C3 lost its exemption from paying amusement and liquor taxes in the process. C3's Charlie Jones said this would lead to an increase in ticket prices. Last year, three-day passes to Lollapalooza cost $210. Part of us was expecting a steep rise in prices, but a $20 increase is a pleasant surprise.

The full lineup for Lollapalooza will be announced April 11.
